Art and theme camps make burns what they are – magical events with many wonders to behold.
Art is anything that affects people in a new way. It can be an activity that inspires creativity, a visual art piece that enchants the viewer, or a performance that breaks down the wall between participant and artist. We take a very expansive view of art at NECTR and we dream of a day when every participant makes and brings art to the event.
A theme camp is a group of people coming together as a camp to offer something to the community. This usually includes public offerings with the added benefit of shared meals and infrastructure for camp members. The public offering can be dance parties, a meal, or some other interactive event.
Last year NECTR had its first Kid Camp! What will we dream up next?
