How do I stay connected to the latest news on NECTR
Please join the NectrBurn google group to stay informed!  This is the best place to receive news! You can also find us on Facebook.

How can I volunteer for NECTR?
There are many ways to participate before, after, and during NECTR. The volunteer cores always need volunteers. If your energy is not already occupied by an art project, sign up for at least two shifts! You can sign up when you purchase tickets.

Is there camp placement?
We will be coordinating placement which requires you to fill out this form (before September 26th) and to attend a work weekend!

Tell me about work weekends?
Work weekends will be held 9/27-28 and 10/4-5.  First work weekend includes placement.  Fill out the following form if you plan on going to either work weekend:  2025 Work Weekend Form

Are art grants available
Applications will open in early July (July 11th) and submissions are accepted through August 15th. This includes design applications for temple and effigy.  Art grants have been reviewed and awarded for 2025.

Will tickets be available at the gate?
No. You must purchase tickets in advance and bring photo identification with you when you arrive at the gate.

How much will tickets be and when will they be available for sale?
Ticket prices are flexible – do what you can afford.  We suggest $100 per person.  Ticket registration opens July 18th and will go on sale on July 25th.  You will need to register in advance.

How do I get directions to the event?
These will be e-mailed to you after the ticket purchase is confirmed.  They are not to be shared publicly. If you need a ride to NECTR, or have space in your vehicle, take a look at the ride share list

Is a parking pass required
No, but parking is limited so carpooling should be used where possible.

You will be asked to fill out a (free) pass to identify your vehicle on arrival – you can print and fill this out in advance to facilitate the process!

Can I request accessibility parking
Yes, please complete this form by October 5th (10/5).

Can I leave and come back
No. Traffic in and out of the event can cause problems for both volunteers and neighbors. Please bring everything you need at the beginning of the event and leave with everything you brought at the end.

Is there a map available for the event?
The draft 2025 map is available here.

Where can I post my events and/or art for the event
NECTR posts events in the BUZZ – please register your events here.

Does NECTR have logos that I can make art from?
Yes! Find these here.

Are children welcome at NECTR?
Yes. Children under the age of 16 do not need a ticket but must be registered with a guardian to attend.  Children between 16 and 17 must have a ticket and be accompanied by a guardian.

Friday: 9:00am to Midnight
Saturday: 9:00am to 9:00pm

No. No pets of any kind are allowed.

Will there be ice for sale?

Will it be cold?
Likely.  Fall in Connecticut can be quite cold, especially at night!  Check out the survival guide!

Will there be firewood available?
Please plan to bring locally sourced firewood and an enclosed, above ground firepit if you want a fire. Some public firepits will be available and approximately 2 cords of wood will be purchased for the event that can be carted to your camp area via wheelbarrow.  Please donate if you intend to use this resource here (Paypal)

Will there be poison ivy, ticks, and other mayhem?
Yes. Prepare to run into these!

Where is Lost and Found?
Lost and Found is located in a bin at Center Camp.  Some item of perceived greater value may be at Bees (car keys, phones, etc).  After the event, any items left in lost and found will be sent out to the Google Group as well as to the Facebook NECTR page and we will do our best to reunite you with your stuff.

What about FIRE?
See the fire safety guidelines.

Is there a Code of Conduct
Yes. Read the Code of Conduct.
